We encourage using recycled materials for packaging π±
Packaging tips π¦
Use sustainable packaging and wrap your items securely to match what's inside, so it can handle the journey. Feel free to use something you have lying around at home, such as a shoebox, so that the content stays stable in the box. Make sure to use clean and dry materials for packaging.
My package contains several parts
Pack each part separately to prevent damage. Is using a box, fill any empty space to keep everything stable.
Packaging materials
To protect your items, use materials like old newspapers, fabric or magazines instead of plastic. Use a box if necessary or recyclable bags. If using plastic bags, make sure they're sturdy. Adding some newspaper on top can help protect the parcel.
Some parcels require that little extra π
Fragile items (Porcelain, glass, jewelry)
Wrap individually and use enough materials to protect your items. Use a sturdy box with padding to prevent movement.
Liquids (Skin care, perfume, makeup)
Use resealable, waterproof bags to prevent leaks. Add padding to keep bottles stable.
Technical equipment (Laptops, phones, cameras)
Wrap in old clothes or towels and place in a box with extra protection.
Sharp objects (Tools)
Cover with old cloth or paper. Use a sturdy box with padding.
Soft parcels (Clothes & other textiles)
Fold neatly in recyclable bags or small boxes with minimal padding.
Flat & round items (Paintings, posters, yoga mats)
Protect with cardboard pieces, wrap in fabric or newspaper, and use a flat box. For round items like posters or yoga mats, add cardboard at the ends to prevent rolling. Avoid fully cylindrical shapes to ensure they don't get lost in sorting.
Large parcels (Boots, lamps)
Fill empty spaces with padding, secure the lid, and place in a box if needed.
Packaging dimensions π
After packaging, make sure your package is within the measurements shown in the app. Different shipping providers may have varying maximum measurements. Choose a larger size if necessary.
Pickup code βοΈ
Clearly write the pickup code you have received in the app, on the outside of the package. If it's a large package, you'll receive a QR-code to show at the Post Office, so no need to write anything on the package itself. Use a waterproof marker and ensure the code stays clear.
Remember that the types of codes vary depending on the shipping provider. Follow the app's instructions after accepting the bid πΏ
