I've received a bid - what do I do now?
If you are happy with the bid you must accept it within 3 days. If you are unhappy with the bid you can reject it, and potentially ask the buyer to give another bid you'd be satisfied with. Make sure to follow the instructions given in the bid dialog.
The buyer selected a delivery method when the bid was made, and the delivery method is described in the instructions given in the bid dialog. Reject the bid and ask the buyer to give another if you want to change this.
If "meet in person" was selected as the delivery method you now have 5 days to meet with the buyer to hand over the item. Make sure that the buyer marks the item as received in the app while handing over the item. If "shipping" was selected as the delivery method you have 4 days to send the item by mail and confirm this in the bid dialog.
It does not matter if you have not registered your bank account with Tise yet. We will keep the money until you have registered this after the transaction is completed.
Note: Safe Payment can only be used when the transaction price is 30 SEK or more. Also see our terms for using Safe Payment before you use the service.
Should I ship the item with a carrier?
The buyer chooses whether the item is to be sent in the mail when the bid is placed. The selected delivery method is stated in the bid message. Ask the buyer to resubmit the bid if this is to be changed.
Remember to keep the receipt of the shipment so you can document that the item has been shipped in case something unexpected should happen with the shipment.
How do I select the available delivery methods and shipping price?
When creating or editing a Tise, you can choose available delivery methods and costs associated with the shipment. If you enable shipping it is your responsibility to select a shipping alternative that covers your costs for postage. We recommend that you always use a trackable shipping alternative. The shipping cost will be added to the buyer's bid if the buyer selects the shipping alternative.
How is the payment handled?
When a bid is given the money are reserved on the buyer's payment card. The buyer pays through Tise, and the seller is paid to her bank account via Tise. The payout process will start once the item is handed over or delivered to the buyer, and marked as received in the app. It is important to notice that you shall not use other payment services in addition to Safe Payment, as in that case the buyer would risk paying twice for the item.
How do I receive money via Safe Payment?
The payout is made directly to your bank account. You enter your payout details by going to the app's settings (gear icon) on the profile page or directly via web here. Here you enter your name, address, date of birth, bank account details, and accept terms of service. If the information has been entered correctly you will se a green indicator and success message at the top of the page.
When will I receive the money?
From when the buyer marked the item as "received" in the app it takes approximately 1-5 work days before you have the money on your account. Subsequent payments will be faster than the first. We are continuously working on solutions to speed up the payout process.
What is wrong if the payment is delayed?
First you should check that all payout details have been entered and that your account is ready to receive payouts. You enter your payout details by going to the app's settings (gear icon) on the profile page.
Second, verify with the buyer that the item has been marked as "received" in the app. When you meet the buyer in person it is important that the buyer marks the item as received during the handover. This is equal to getting paid. If the delivery method is "meet in person", the payment will be automatically returned to the buyer if the item has not been marked as received within five days, as this is understood as not meeting and handing over the item.
If all of the above are clear, and the payout is shown as "paid" in the "Payout status" screen, please verify that you have looked for the right payment on your bank statement. The total amount for the payout is shown in the app, and is the agreed amount for the item, plus optional shipping cost, minus the Safe Payment fee. In your bank statement, the payout will displayed as "Saxo Payments A / S", "TISE ****** (ad code)", "STRIPE", "STRIPE TRANSFER", "Banking Circle Denmark" or "The Currency Cloud Ltd"
What does Safe Payment cost?
The fee will vary based on the item price, but the fee amount will be clearly stated in the bid you receive. The revenues goes to maintenance and continued development of the service, so that Tise can continue to make second hand and reuse even more fun and rewarding going forward.
See our terms for using Safe Payment before you use the service.
