Seller FAQ's - Sendle

Updated yesterday

This article covers frequently asked questions about sending parcels using Sendle, when completing your transaction on Tise. Happy tising 💚

How much does it cost to send a package? 💰

When you complete your transaction on Tise, the buyer covers the shipping cost. Your responsibility is to ensure that you select the correct parcel size. The Sendle shipping price will be clearly displayed to the buyer, inclusive of GST where applicable.

How should the parcel be packed? 📦

The parcel must be securely packed according to its contents to ensure it can withstand transport and handling. You can follow Sendle’s packaging guidelines for safe shipping here. We recommend using sturdy, recycled packaging that fits your item securely.

Please note that Sendle’s cover only applies when parcels are correctly packaged and sized according to their guidelines. Incorrect packaging or size selection may result in additional fees or loss of cover.

Do I need to enter the recipient's address or personal information anywhere? ✍🏼

No, when you accept a bid on Tise, all the information needed for the shipment is already provided by the buyer. You’ll receive a link to a Sendle tracking page with a QR code and a shipping label. Simply print out the label at home and attach it to the parcel. You can also show the QR code or print out the label at a Sendle drop-off point.

Where can I drop off my parcel? 🌎

Sendle provides over 900+ drop off locations across Australia. Not all drop-off points offer print-in-store, so remember to print your shipping label at home if needed. Use the map when selecting a drop-off location to filter for print-in-store options and find the nearest available point.

Can the parcel be picked up at my address? 📮

Unfortunately not. At the moment, we only operate with Sendle drop-off points. However, we’re continuously working to improve Tise and exploring new solutions, so hopefully this will be possible in the future.

Can the buyer add multiple items from my profile to one shipment? 👀

Yes, a buyer can easily purchase multiple items from the same seller. The bid will clearly show which items are included, and the package size will automatically be updated to fit all the items. Buyers can learn more about how to buy more than one item from the same seller here.

What are the size dimensions of a parcel? 📐

Sendle offers three different parcel sizes on Tise. Please make sure the parcel is within the size of the category booked. This will prevent parcels being returned to you for incorrect sizing.

Small: ≤ 1 kg & max volume 4L (20 cm x 15 cm x 13 cm)

Medium: 1-3 kg & max volume 12L (30 cm x 20 cm x 20 cm)

Large: 3-5 kg & max volume 20L (35 cm x 25 cm x 23cm)

How do I know the package is on its way? 🤔

Sendle will send you all order updates and a tracking link by email once the package has been registered as sent. You will also receive notifications for transportation events, shipment status, and delivery to the recipient's delivery address directly in the Tise app.

Once the parcel has been dropped off with Sendle, delivery and tracking is managed by Sendle under its terms and tracking updates. Sendle deliveries are made with Authority to Leave (ATL) and do not include Signature on Delivery. Buyers will need to ensure their delivery address is safe to receive parcels.

How long is the delivery time for shipments?

Delivery times typically range between 1-10 business days, depending on the destination and Sendle’s network conditions.

What do I do if I have to cancel the shipment?

Bids are tied to sending codes and will be automatically canceled if the packages aren't delivered to the shipping company within the given deadline. If the package hasn’t been sent yet but you’ve already accepted the bid, you can choose the “Cancel trade” button in your chat with the buyer.

Is my parcel covered if it’s lost or damaged? 📦

Yes — all Sendle labels include transit cover provided directly by Sendle.

  • Up to $100 cover for 250 g deliveries

  • Up to $300 cover for 500 g and larger deliveries

This cover is offered by Sendle and applies subject to their terms and conditions.

Note: Sendle Cover doesn’t apply to return parcels.
