How to shop at Tise

New to Tise? Here’s a simple guide on how to shop on Tise in Norway.

Place a bid 💳

  • As a buyer, you place a bid by tapping the “Buy” button at the bottom right of the item you want to purchase.

  • Next, you’ll need to fill in your preferred delivery address, shipping provider, and payment method for the transaction.

  • Once that’s done and you tap “Place bid,” the full amount will be reserved on your account.

  • The duration of the bid will be clearly displayed in the chat. The bid can be withdrawn by you as the buyer, at any time until the seller has accepted it, and it will be automatically canceled if the seller does not accept the bid within the specified time limit.

If the seller has accepted the bid but you both agree to cancel the transaction, the seller can easily do this via a button in your chat— up until the package has been shipped 💡

The bid is accepted, and the package is sent 📦

  • After the bid is accepted, the seller will receive shipping instructions in the chat. These instructions are based on the shipping option you selected as the buyer when placing the bid.

  • Tracking updates will be available on Tise in the chat between buyer and seller, as well as directly from the shipping provider (SMS, app, email, etc.).

The package is ready to be delivered 📬

The package is usually delivered to your mailbox, or to the doorstep if this option was selected when placing the bid. If the package is too large or cannot be delivered, it will be sent to a nearby pickup point. Make sure your mailbox is clearly labeled with your full name and correct address so the courier can find you. You can read more about Posten as a shipping provider here.

INSTABOX 📮
As a buyer, you select your preferred pickup location when placing your bid. When the package is ready for pickup in the selected locker, you will receive an SMS from Instabox with a PIN code to open the locker. You can read more about Instabox as a shipping provider here.

Once a package is confirmed as delivered, you as the buyer have 24 hours to report any issues in the chat. After 24 hours, the transaction will be automatically completed 💡
